Mike Duhamel

Director of Player Instruction

Mike Duhamel was born and raised in Northern Ontario, Canada and moved to the Sacramento area with his wife Charlotte in 2020.

He considers himself an athlete, excelling in ice hockey before turning to golf.

Mike is a PGA & LPGA Tour Performance Coach and a Class A Canadian PGA Member, who’s professional playing and coaching experience spans over 20 years. His expertise is performance coaching and player development in all areas including putting, short game, and full swing.

For the past 15 years he has worked along side, and learned from, some of the brightest minds in sports technology, biomechanics, and human performance. This experience led him to work with top ranked junior golfers, D1 college programs, and some of the best players in the world on the PGA, LPGA, LIV, and Champions Tours.

Early Days

His love of sports started at age 3 when he began ice skating in Northern Ontario, Canada. Mike excelled at multiple sports growing up including baseball, golf, and hockey, eventually going on to play Junior A hockey through college, before injuries forced him to change his focus. In 1999, while still playing Junior A hockey, he enrolled in PGM College and graduated in 2002.

As a junior golfer, Mike won numerous golf tournaments even though golf was not his main focus. After injuries forced him away from hockey during college, he turned his attention to professional golf and completed his playing ability test to become a member of the Canadian PGA. As a professional- Mike was on a team that opened 2 prominent golf clubs in Canada, where he specialized in golf operations and coaching.

With a strong desire to compete and having success as a young playing professional- Mike took his game to the Australasian Tour and various mini-tours across Europe and North America, racking up 5 professional victories and numerous Top 10 finishes.  From there- he caddied on the PGA and LPGA Tours, where he began to coach players and started his performance business.

Fun Fact:

Mike and Charlotte have been married for 14 years and met when Charlotte was playing on the LPGA Tour, and Mike was her caddy 🙂

They are excited to bring their talents to Old Greenwood!
