Celebrate the Holidays in Historic Downtown Truckee!
Kick off the holiday season with a magical evening in downtown Truckee! For over 40 years, the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association and Truckee Rotary have brought the community together to celebrate the season, and this year is no exception. Join fellow Truckee residents as we gather for festive lights, holiday cheer, and a beautiful tradition in remembrance of a beloved Truckee icon.
Event Details:
- Date and Time: Friday, November 22, 2024 | 4:15 PM – 6:00 PM
- Location: Downtown Historic Truckee, 10065 Donner Pass Rd, Truckee, CA 96161
- Fees/Admission: Free and open to all!
- 6 PM meet up at Bearfoot Bar & Grill: Enjoy dinner and drinks with fellow members
What to Expect:
- Holiday Cheer & Decor: Over 600 local elementary students have decorated small trees to line downtown, creating a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
- Santa & Hot Cocoa: Enjoy a visit from Santa Claus and warm up with complimentary hot cocoa, courtesy of Truckee Rotary.
- Bud Fish Tree Lighting: The evening’s highlight is the lighting of the traditional Bud Fish Tree at 5:20 PM, honoring a beloved member of the Truckee community.
** 6 PM Celebrate afterward at Bearfoot Bar & Grill to welcome the snowy season at last!
Come celebrate the season, share a warm drink, and experience the magic of Truckee’s holiday traditions. It’s a perfect start to the holidays with friends, family, and fellow TMC members!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the nature of events, we ask that you commit to your reservation so that we can accommodate as many Members as possible and honor our commitment to vendors and other departments who are supporting the event. All events have a 48-hour cancellation policy, where Tahoe Mountain Club Members are subject to being charged in-full for an event if they do not show at the event or cancel within the given time frame. Additionally, Memebers will be charged a $20 cancellation fee for complimentary events they RSVP for and do not attend.
Guest Policy
Please refer to above policy to see if guests are permitted at this event. Members will be responsible for paying any applicable guest fees in addition to the cost of the event ticket.
