Embark on a winter adventure with TMC’s very own naturalist, Jennifer Coon! This guided snowshoeing journey through the breathtaking trails of Cold Stream is designed for adults, offering a perfect mix of exploration, education, and connection to nature in the stunning mountain environment.

Location: Meet at the Pavilion, then drive to Cold Stream

What to Expect:

  • Guided Snowshoe Tour: Discover Cold Stream’s scenic trails as Jennifer shares her knowledge of alpine trees, local wildlife, and the fascinating natural history of the Tahoe Basin.

About Jennifer Coon:
Jennifer is a Certified California Naturalist and a long-time Old Greenwood resident. With years of experience as a hiking guide for the Tahoe Rim Trail Association and Palisades Tahoe, Jennifer brings a wealth of expertise about the flora, fauna, and geology of our region.

Important Details:

  • Meet at the Pavilion at 9:00 AM for check-in and carpooling to Cold Stream.
  • Approximate duration: 3 hours, including travel time.
  • Wear warm, comfortable clothing and snow-appropriate boots.
  • Bring reusable water bottles to stay hydrated.
  • 16+

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the nature of events, we ask that you commit to your reservation so that we can accommodate as many Members as possible and honor our commitment to vendors and other departments who are supporting the event. All events have a one week cancellation policy, where Tahoe Mountain Club Members are subject to being charged in-full for an event if they do not show at the event or cancel within the given time frame.

Guest Policy

Please refer to above policy to see if guests are permitted at this event. Members will be responsible for paying any applicable guest fees in addition to the cost of the event ticket.
